Every month, a set of hand block-printed papers made with carved teak blocks in a family workshop in Sanganer — printed with natural dyes on handmade cotton-rag paper. Each parcel holds four A5 sheets, six printed envelopes and one larger print suitable for framing, with a card naming the block used and roughly when it was carved. Some blocks in the workshop are over eighty years old and still in daily use.

The printing shed floods most years and this year it flooded properly. We are relaying the floor and rebuilding two drying racks.
August parcels will go out around the 20th instead of the 5th. Everything is already printed — it is the drying that needs somewhere to happen.
