Each month a paper-engineered card that ships completely flat and opens into a three-dimensional structure — a bridge, a staircase, a building that should not be possible in one sheet. Cut and scored on a plotter, assembled and tested by hand, packed with a diagram showing how the mechanism works. Designed by a former architect who found paper more honest than buildings. Bilingual card, French and English.

August is a suspension bridge that genuinely holds tension. It took nine prototypes and the ninth still fails about one time in twenty, so each one is tested before it goes in the envelope.
