Each envelope holds one genuinely pressed and dried plant specimen, mounted on archival card with its Latin name, the date and the grid reference where it was collected — plus a hand-drawn botanical study of the same plant in ink and watercolour. Everything is collected legally and sustainably from Scottish lowlands and roadsides, never from protected sites or protected species. Suitable for framing, or for putting in a book and forgetting about for ten years.

A few people have asked, so: nothing is picked from SSSIs, nothing from protected species lists, and nothing in quantity. Most of what I press comes from verges, ditches and my own overgrown allotment.
The grid reference on each card is deliberately coarse — a 1km square, not a spot. Rare plants get dug up when you tell people exactly where they are.
What went out, month by month
Filipendula ulmaria, collected from a ditch outside Kilsyth. Smells of almonds even dried.
Digitalis purpurea. One flower, pressed flat, still improbably purple.
Hyacinthoides non-scripta from a managed woodland, with permission. The colour does not survive pressing and that is part of the study.
