Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Mail Club List at mailclublist.com (the “Service”), operated by Naveen Dhanapal, a sole proprietorship registered in India (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, browsing the directory, or subscribing to Premium Membership, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Mail Club List is a directory of independent mail clubs. Browsing the directory, viewing club profiles, reading updates and using search/filters is free. We separately offer an optional paid tier, Premium Membership, described in Section 5.

We are a directory, not a mail club. We do not produce, ship, or sell the physical mail that listed clubs send. Every listed club is operated by an independent third party.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract to create an account. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@mailclublist.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Listings, claims & third-party clubs

Listings are compiled from public sources and, where claimed, maintained directly by the club’s creator. We make reasonable efforts to keep listings accurate but do not guarantee that any price, shipping term, availability or description is current — verify directly with the creator before paying them. When you subscribe to a club, you contract directly with that club’s creator, on their own site and their own terms. We are not a party to that transaction, take no commission on it, and are not responsible for what a club does or fails to send, refund or deliver. Disputes about a club’s product belong between you and that creator.

If you believe a listing is inaccurate, closed, or uses your work without permission, use Report a listing.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service: no scraping beyond what our robots.txt allows, no impersonation, no submitting false listings or claims, no interfering with the Service’s operation or security, and no using the Service for anything unlawful.

5. Premium Membership — fees & billing

Premium Membership is an optional one-time purchase (currently $15 USD, plus any applicable tax shown at checkout) that unlocks the full written description of every club listed on the Service, for as long as the Service and your account exist. It is not a subscription: it does not renew, and you will not be charged again.

Payment is processed by Polar Software Inc. (“Polar”), which acts as the merchant of record for the purchase, collects any applicable tax and issues your receipt. Polar’s own terms apply to the payment itself. We do not receive or store your card details.

We may change the Premium price for future purchases at any time. A change never affects a purchase you have already made.

6. Refunds

Because Premium does not renew, there is nothing to cancel. Refunds are handled as set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. A refund ends Premium access.

7. Intellectual property

The Mail Club List name, logo, site design and our own writing are ours. Club names, descriptions and photography belong to their respective creators, who license us to display them for the listing. Generated placeholder artwork used on unclaimed listings is ours and is not to be presented as anyone’s real photography.

8. Third-party links & services

The Service links out to creators’ own websites, Patreon, Ko-fi, Substack, Etsy and social media pages, and relies on third-party infrastructure (including Supabase, Cloudflare and Polar). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of any third-party site or service you reach from here.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that listings are complete, accurate, or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mail Club List and Naveen Dhanapal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a third-party club’s products, shipping, or refusal to ship or refund. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service, and close your account, at any time.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes affecting Premium Membership pricing or cancellation rights will be notified in advance to active subscribers.
